I was under the impression there was going to be new content added each week with weeks 4 and 7 being grander scale additions while keeping weeks 2, 3, 5, 6, 8-10 just little amusing side pieces…
Week 2 we saw the voting buff implemented that was issued from week one. We saw a slight increase in the npc releases as well as new ones like sappers, healers, etc. Though, after looking around for new things this week…I don’t see anything.
This battle is disappointing. I’m not upset with the fragment drop rates. They were increased to a decent amount after week one and I have no doubt even those who play a few hours a day can get all 6 skins without much effort in the remaining 7 weeks. I think the tear rate system should be changed…but overall, that too isn’t anything I’m overly concerned with since I will be able to get both side rewards after the whole 9 weeks. It’s simply the lack of entertainment from this content.
I was hoping to see more dungeoneering monsters on Zammy’s side (not simply an option to vote for a siege unit behemoth). Sara’s factions I knew would be boring anyway since they’re primarily human or icyene based. But the lack of momentum building as the new weeks come in combined with lack of varied npcs and boring gameplay has dampened my spirits for this event. Only at 3-5 a.m. CST in america when there are few Runescape 3 Gold players online does it feel like an actual intense battle since the warriors are in full masses fighting all around me.
